CIDEON Export from SAP CAD Desktop has been specifically developed for use with CAD data export. Researched documents from SAP CAD Desktop can be forwarded to the Export Dialog at the click of a button. The document structure can be displayed on the screen so that only specified documents, individual parts or components are exported. At the same time, document structure can be expanded to the individual parts level while structures which are not required can be blinded out during the exporting process....

So that CAD teams can work together, the supplied CAD data or the accompanying files must once again be in a position where they can be specifically imported according to the PDM status net, the actual version as well as being in compliance with the change management system.  CIDEON Import PDM serves this purpose.
