New possibilities in the area of Data Collaboration with Import PDM 7 for SAP PLM

April 2010: In addition to AutoCAD 2010 and Inventor 2010, the new Release 7 now also supports the 64bit versions of the SolidWorks, Solid Edge, MicroStation, AutoCAD and Inventor CAD systems and offers additional general UNICODE-Support.

The Import PDM 7 for SAP, which has been redesigned according to the most modern software technology and long-time Best Practice experience, contains, in addition to significantly improved performance, a new user interface - tooltips, new icons, interactive links between the controls, new status columns, etc. are all part of the new Import Release 7.

The SolidWorks specific configurations are now even more extensively supported - fields of the configurations attributes can be selected.

It is now the possibe to work with "InContextReferences" or virtual components - this ignores and logs unresolved references. New functions are available for the configuration.
