CIDEON Conversion Engine 4.2.2.0 released

February 5, 2010: In the newest release of the Conversion Engine the PDF creation and stamping of documents are possible using CIDEON's PDF Writer and PDF Editor which are based on Adobe Libraries Version 9. Converster Moduls for both programs are available. Additionally, the new release supports Autodesk Navisworks as a converter module.

The following changes have been implemented:

MicroStation: Support from various user configurations
-
Inventor: many neutral formats can now be converted using the Inventor Translator Addin
-
MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Visio 2007 can now be converted directly to PDF without the indirect route using a PostScript file
-
The generic converter module can now also control 64bit Batch processes
-
It is now possible to stamp Chinese and Japanese characters on documents with the PDF Editor

Service Pack 2 for CIDEON Output Management 7 available
March 20, 2010

The new Service Pack provides
a substantial increase in overall performance. The software has been optimized and is now more robust and user-friendly.

The support of the
conversion and outputs APDFL from Datalogics and a function for additional error page list are likewise components of the pack.
